English weekends: nature, learning, community & joy

Time spent outdoors, real conversations, eating and laughing together, small talk and deep talk, time to read and write, all in English... In other words, you'll make plenty of mental effort.

To balance that out, we will try to make you physically tired too, don't worry - we will go for walks and hikes and play games.. You'll sleep like a baby, and who knows - maybe even dream in English!

Greetings to my fellow English lovers!

I am Terezie, an enthusiastic English teacher and an English Language and Literature student at Masaryk University.

I spent a year at the University of Lincoln, Nebraska, where I also taught English group classes at a non-profit organisation. That’s where I realised the power of learning in a group, with interactive learning methods and supportive environment.

Apart from English teaching, I enjoy reading, hiking, dancing, and practising mindfulness.

Heya!

If we haven't met yet, I'm Zuzana and I'm on the mission to help people improve their English and learn Spanish.

I focus mainly on pronunciation and conversation skills, incl. active listening.

I believe we learn best from people who inspire us and make us feel safe. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere is a must. But I also believe we must step out of our comfort zone from time to time to learn and get to know ourselves better. At my retreats, you will hopefully get a healthy dose of both. ☺

Our homely base under the mountains:

This will be our nest from which we can fly out to explore new horizons.
